AfroSkills is organizing this year the first edition of the Africa Skills Week under the theme: "Advancing Knowledge and Skills Strategies in Africa".
Africa Skills Week brings together African knowledge institutions, opinion leaders, facilitators and knowledge seekers and many other stakeholders. It is a place to catalyze human capital development and promote Africa as a knowledge continent and destination for investment in research and development (R&D) and innovation.
During this African Skills Week, an African Business Ideas Competition will be organized to meet, identify and support innovative and entrepreneurial ideas brought by African students, entrepreneurs and researchers.
So, whether you are :
➢ A student, researcher or academic staff (teacher, professor) in a university, research institute or higher education institution;
➢ An entrepreneur or innovator even without a university degree in Africa.
Or you have interesting ideas that can be turned into a commercially viable startup, We invite you to participate in the AfroSkills 2022 business idea competition.
You can win prizes and receive support from experts to develop your idea or project into a successful business.
This year's competition focuses on green entrepreneurship. We invite all innovative ideas that can be turned into successful startups and businesses to participate .
Therefore, the purpose of this briefing is to:
● present more explicitly the Africa Skills Week with its particularities, and its benefits for each participant.
● present the African Business Ideas Competition and the particularities and benefits of this competition for participants including those who will not have reached the finals or won a prize.
